Lauren Clippard RN, IBCLCSchedule Appointment
Born and raised in Sarasota, Fl. I started my career in 2002 working at Manatee Memorial Hospital as a Mother/Baby nurse. I personally has many breastfeeding challeges which led me to want to help other women during their journey. In 2011 after becoming an IBCLC I joined Katie Powers at M.O.M.M. s place, located at MMH as well. Here we serve women in a variety of ways; childbirth education, breastfeeding classes, a support group and private one on one follow up sessions if needed. I have a husband and 3 beautiful “babies” of my own. I previously owned a private practice but soon realized I enjoyed working with a group of professionals instead, my life was too busy to do it alone!
Although I help mothers will all of their breastfeeding needs, I am especially knowledgable about dietary and/or allergy concerns. It is such a priviledge to be able to come alongside women in this beautiful and transforming time in their lives, helping each indiviual dyad learn this dance together. Nicole S. Jenkins BSN, RNC-NIC, IBCLC, CPSTSchedule Appointment
With over 15 years of experience as a certified NICU RN, I have worked in Level 3 and 4 NICUs in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Las Vegas, and Dallas areas. Currently employed at Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital as an IBCLC where I can continue my work with NICU families.
In my training as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse I was introduced to lactation and was hooked from the onset. The complex and miraculous science of breast milk coupled with educating families solidified my dedication to helping them achieve their breastfeeding goals. I am passionate about being an RN, Lactation Consultant because it’s an honor to help families provide optimal nutrition to their babies.
I became a full time Breastfeeding Educator in 2015 and earned the credential of Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2016. I became certified as a Child Passenger Seat Technician (CPST) in 2020. To contact Nicole email her at email@example.com

Shannon Barnhouse RN, BS MCH, IBCLCSchedule Appointment
I have a Bachelor degree in Maternal Child Health and am currently in school for my Master’s of Nursing. I have been married for 10 years and I am a mother of soon to be 5. My husband and I have been blessed with 4 births and 1 adoption. Our oldest is 18 and our youngest is set to be born in the next few weeks! We come from small town West Virginia, but have been in Florida for six years. I quickly found my passion in working with moms and babies after nursing my own first born through some serious health concerns. I began my lactation career in my hometown, eight years ago, servicing a tiny local WIC office. Breastfeeding all of my birth babies brought me through so many lessons and blessings and I am thankful to have the opportunity to share my growing knowledge and experience with our local families.
